I understand what you're getting at, but it's a tough sell for me. Ron Paul's tone seems to me more John Birch Society than Libertarian Party. And the latter organization's tone comes across more social darwinism than civil libertarianism. And if I hear the phrase "crony capitalism" again, I'll barf in my Cheerios.
